Derek brings extensive experience raising capital for private equity, infrastructure, energy, private credit and real estate funds. Derek has been working in the fund placement industry for thirteen years and has worked with some of the leading Private Fund Sponsors, raising capital for more than 30 separate fund opportunities.
Prior to Bridge Haven, Derek was a Partner at First Avenue where he was the Head of Real Assets. Derek was previously a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group in New York, as well as a Senior Vice President in the Private Fund Marketing Group at Lehman Brothers. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Derek acted in a similar role in Deutsche Bank’s Alternative Investment Fundraising Group, where he began his fund placement career. Derek began his private equity career at AIG Capital Partners in Moscow and his career in financial services in the Financial Institutions Group of Salomon Brothers in New York.
Derek received a BA from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He is fluent in Russian and is Series 7, 63 and 24 registered with FINRA.

John has a combination of investing and capital raising expertise in private equity. During his 15+ years as a private equity investor, John took a lead role in committing more than $3 billion of capital to private equity and alternative investments including buyout, venture capital, international private equity and natural resource investments on behalf of institutional clients.
Prior to Bridge Haven, John managed his own firm NBridge Advisors advising a select group of private equity fund managers. John was also a Managing Director of IGI, a China-focused alternative investment firm investing with top-tier China-based fund managers investing in private equity, real asset and illiquid credit strategies. Previously John was a Managing Director with SVB Capital in Menlo Park, CA. At SVB Capital, John led the firm's investing activities in growth capital fund investments and also raised capital for SVB Capital funds. Prior to SVB Capital, John was with Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco, a privately-owned investment advisory firm serving family office, foundation & endowment clients. At Hall Capital, John served as Head of the Private Equity team leading the firm's research and investing activities in private equity and venture capital. Previously, John served as the first Director of Alternative Investments at the Public Employee's Retirement Association of Colorado where he led a team of professionals responsible for managing the pension funds private equity and natural resource portfolios. John also worked in the fixed-income investment department of Colorado PERA. Before joining Colorado PERA, John worked in fixed income capital markets and risk management positions with CoBank in Denver and before that he served as a bank examiner with the Office of Thrift Supervision in Denver.
John received a BS and MBA degree from the University of Colorado and is Series 79, 82 and 63 registered with FINRA.

Tim has over 25 years of experience in marketing credit and alternative strategies in Europe and the United States. Since 2004, Tim and his teams have raised over $1.5 billion for a variety of private investment funds focused on distressed, private credit, credit hedge, private equity, venture capital and special situations.
Prior to Bridge Haven, Tim was Managing Director at Forbes Private Capital where he was the Head of Europe. Tim was previously Managing Director and Head of European Sales at Aladdin Capital Management, a credit asset manager whose peak assets reached $18 billion during Tim’s employment. Tim was responsible for building the European asset management, asset management sales, broker dealer, and managed account businesses. Tim was also a Director at Cheyne Capital where he was instrumental in founding Cheyne's non ABS credit businesses. Tim spent seven years at Goldman Sachs International, where he founded the credit dealer desk, subsequently helping to build the credit business with European banks and hedge funds. Before Goldman Sachs, Tim was a founding member of the illiquid credit group at CEDEF Assets in Geneva and London.

Juan has more than 25 years of experience in finance and is a former senior banking executive with broad experience in international investment banking coupled with a deep knowledge of the asset management and alternative asset classes. As an equities specialist Juan's clients included institutional international asset managers and pension funds.
Juan has held senior roles with SG Warburg, SBC Warburg and UBS Investment banking in Spain and Portugal (Iberia) starting in 1990 and through to 2003. Juan was Head of Equity Distribution for Iberia covering initially international institutional clients and subsequently in charge of the distribution of global products to Iberian clients.
Juan was also a member of SBC Warburg´s European Heads of Equity Distribution Committee where he held various CRM responsibilities across all product capabilities for Iberia (global equities, equity derivatives, research, block trading and alternatives). He is also a former board member of SG Warburg Securities Spain, SBC Warburg Securities Spain and UBS Investment Bank Spain. The Iberian Equities team which Juan was part of was consistently ranked in the top three in the equity research and sales surveys conducted by Extel, Thompson Reuters, Greenwich and Institutional Investor.
Juan also worked on the distribution side on almost every privatization transaction undertaken by the Spanish and Portuguese Governments between 1992 and 1999, including, Repsol II, III, IV, and V, Argentaria I, II, III, Portugal Telecom I and II, Endesa III, Aceralia, Aldeasa , Amadeus, and Gas Natural. Juan was also involved on Spain´s first ever Euro financing by the Kingdom of Spain.
Before SG Warburg, Juan worked from 1988 to 1989 at Gescapital Gestion SA, an asset management boutique in Spain.
Since 2005 Juan has worked as an independent consultant in association with a number of hedge funds, private equity and real estate specialists. His clients include institutional investors and family offices.
Juan studied at Eton College and earned a Bsc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as Masters in Economics from Reading University. Juan is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Karan S. Chadha

Karan is the Principal of Farlap Capital, http://www.farlapcapital.com, which he founded in June 2015. Prior to Farlap Capital, Karan was the Head of Principal Investments at ACPI Investments, a London based multi-family office and private wealth manager. At ACPI, Karan was responsible for originating, structuring and distributing proprietary transactions across a diverse range of asset classes. He worked on numerous primary and secondary deals across private equity, senior and mezzanine debt, real estate and structured credit. Previously, Karan worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Aladdin Capital, London, managing emerging market and high yield credit. Prior to Aladdin, he was a Partner and Senior Portfolio manager at Washington Square Investment Management, a London based structured credit hedge fund that was later acquired by the Blackstone Group. He was also a member of the investment team at Oaktree Capital Management, Los Angeles, responsible for investing the firm's assets in high yield and distressed credit. He began his career at JPMorgan Securities, New York, as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group helping finance leveraged buyouts, recapitalisations and DIP financings.
Karan will be sourcing direct deals across the capital structure for Bridge Haven as well as helping with investor introductions.
Karan has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, USA and sits on the Board of Directors for Bulldog London Dry Gin (CK3 LLC).

Emilio has over 25 years of experience in finance, most of which has been focused on developed and emerging market credit. He is currently a Director at Beachwood Capital, a firm that acts as a partner to asset managers looking to establish a European footprint.
Until 2014, Emilio was responsible for European product development and distribution at Shenkman Capital, a prominent US-based high yield manager, whose assets in the region eclipsed $2bn during his four year tenure. Previously, he was co - Portfolio Manager of the Euro 500mm Pall Mall Absolute Return strategy. He spent seven years at Citibank in Madrid and in New York, where he was ultimately responsible for the Latam local derivative business. He also worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in both New York and London, where he was responsible for the distribution of emerging market structured product.
Emilio received his BS from Boston University and his MBA from NYU Stern. He is a US and Italian national but spent most of his early life in Spain.

Fox Point is an investment banking advisory, consulting, and principal investment firm, which he founded in 2009. Since inception, Michael has had two long term consulting contracts that include Sharebridge Private Equity Consolidated (now Vanbridge LLC), a Stone Point Capital portfolio company, and Global Family Partners Limited, a multi-family office firm focused on direct private equity investments.
Michael was previously a Managing Director at Marsh and McClennan Companies (MMC) in New York and London where he was Head of the Global Telecoms, Media & Technology Industry Practice. Before MMC, Michael was Managing Director & Head of Global Telecoms, Media & Technology Investment Banking at ING Barings Limited, London. There he was also a member of the European Management Committee and Investment Committee for ING Barings Client Investment Fund. Prior to this, Michael was a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Bear Stearns in New York and London. At Bear Michael held several senior level positions that included Managing Director- Structured Debt Capital Markets Group, Head of Canadian Investment Banking Group and Head of European Telecoms, Technology and New Media Group. Michael started his career in Chemical Bank’s Corporate Banking Group and at CIBC Wood Gundy in their Capital Markets & Derivative Products Group in New York.
As an active Senior Advisor to Bridge Haven, Michael has oversight of all investment banking activities that include direct private equity investments.

Thomas has over 20 years of marketing and sales experience within capital markets, most recently as Partner at Phoenix Partners Group in New York, a global Credit and Equity Broker Dealer with offices globally. At Phoenix, Thomas was Global Head of Equity Products, establishing and managingtheir equity research and derivatives groups and building their institutional client base of Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, SWFs and Pension Funds globally, in addition to overseeing the commodity trading and cross asset marketing groups.
Prior to Phoenix, Thomas worked in marketing and institutional sales at GFI Group where he was responsible for building the equity derivatives business in London and New York. Thomas also worked at JP Morgan within the global swaps group performing marketing and trading in London. Thomas started his career in financial services with Royal Bank of Canada in London within their investment banking group.
Thomas attended the Westminster School in London and Bristol University. He is registered with the FCA to work with clients in the UK and EMEA.
